About Me

head_smallHi, I’m Ed Martin and I write the MicroBiz Made Simple blog to help people start their own successful microbusiness and to discover their inner micropreneur. I began blogging about small and microbusiness way back in 1999 (before it was called blogging!), and started the MicroBiz Made Simple blog in 2009 to help folks deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of starting a new business in a difficult economy. I started my first business during a recession and know what that is like.

I’ve run an antique and craft business with my wife and have been a freelance technical writer, translator and software consultant for 15 years. In addition to running my own businesses I’ve also worked as a small business counselor and writer. Along the way I picked up my MBA in marketing.

To contact me, please email me.

Ed:
I was reading your blog today and thought that perhaps the product we make might be of use to your audience. It’s a very easy-to-use rich messaging system that lets entrepreneurs and small business owners produce and email multi-media sales pitches, explanations and other messages to potential customers, business partners–really any commercial audience at all.
There’s a good example of the Pixetell message on our home page. Let me know if this sounds like something your readers would find valuable.

I’ll sign up for a trial and see what I think. Thanks for bringing this up
